Ups and downs

777 8

I've been away from the blogosphere for a while, not that I didn't care to enjoy inspiring posts because I do see and analyze them, just that I didn't felt the need to be a part of all that for a bit. I wanted to stay in the shadows, thinking and rethinking my choices, my life, this blog. We all have our ups and downs and I am sure you get the feeling. If not, then you must be the happiest person on this planet. Ever.
So you all know about that moment when you decide to go on a shopping spree when you're feeling down. If you don't, it's called shopping therapy. And it's bad. Really bad. If you don't control yourself, you buy all kind of stuff you actually don't need, but they do make you feel better in that moment. Luckily I controled myself. I only bought some jewelry and I browsed with great boredom through all the sale items and nothing caught my attention except for this dress I showed you on Facebook a few days ago. I loved the cut and the unusual fabric and I really can't wait to wear it in the Summer. The dress is from Mohito, I brand that I seriously never heard of before and I realised the store opened just recently here in Cluj. They really do have great, sophisticated and modern collections and I really am glad that I found a new store that it's different from the overrated Zara, Stradivarius H&M and so on.

Wednesday thoughts

Yesterday I went out shopping for groceries - nothing unusual here, everybody does that - but not everybody forgets the wallet home and starts calling friends to the rescue while walking aimlessly in the hypermakert. I eventually left the cart there, went home, rushed back there and found the cart was waiting for me there in the same position as I left it. I thought that wouldn't be possible.
Who forgets the wallet back home?? I seriously have no idea where my mind was at that time; well, at least my camera was in the bag, if I had to rush back home to get it, I think I would've just let it go and went to McDonalds instead to punish myself for my stupidity, hahaha!

Luckily that didn't happen, so we took some pictures just before the sun went down, there were those crucial 10 minutes that we desperately trying to cling on - yey, at least I got a great light behind me.
Today I'm lazy and decided to do nothing. My job starts in an hour and I need to find a yummy recipe so I can have my pre-dinner soon. Sometimes I get bored of all food on Earth and in those moments I feel I could only eat junk food. Why? So not healthy..

The Blue Yeti is back!

It's been a long time since I wore that coat, perhaps because so far this Winter has been too cold to be able to wear it and keep me warm. But now the weather is much more warmer, but as a result, there is only filth on the streets because the snow melted and that is not a pretty sight. At least I feel cozy and awesome in a fluffy and unusual coat!

I hope you are having a great weekend despite the cloudy weather. I've been catching up with some reading and I watched The Fault in our Stars only now, because I was afraid it wouldn't be as good as the book. But it was. And it was devastating. I won't be watching any other sad drama for a while now.
Tonight is the Golden Globes ceremony and I wish I could see it live, but I found nothing online, no live broadcast, no illegal streaming, haha. Speaking of which, did anyone see The Imitation Game yet? It's due to release in cinemas here only on 30th January and I hear it's a great film (hooray for Cumberbatch!)  and I am sooooo curious!
